It runs Britain’s Most Admired Companies study, the longest survey of corporate reputation in the country, and has served over 500 clients spanning all sectors since its inception in 1990.

Why they required a Business Continuity plan.

They were looking for a formal document containing detailed instructions on how to respond to unplanned incidents such as natural disasters, power outages, cyber-attacks and any other disruptive events. The purpose of this would be to minimise the effects of a disaster, so the business will continue to operate – or quickly resume key operations.

The concern was that disruptions can lead to lost revenue, brand damage and dissatisfied customers. And the longer the recovery time, the greater the adverse business impact. Therefore, a good disaster recovery plan would enable rapid recovery from disruptions, regardless of the source of the disruption.
